On the contractor’s authority, not the Gov’s

Guam jobs for skilled workers:

The hiring started since late last year for the 20,000 workers, not 10,000, and the Governor and the officials of Guam do not have the authority to give priority.

It is the contractor’s prerogative to select the workers so the provincial government must do their homework. I believe there was no representative from the Pangasinan provincial government during those symposiums early last year, only Olongapo and Iloilo were well represented.

Ferrer’s statement that they are doing it “early” is pure BS. The press release is obviously BS political propaganda (pampaganda) because it does not even give directions or advice to the skilled workers of Pangasinan on what to do to be hired for these overseas jobs and what actions have the provincial government done to date.

Kung mambobola kayo, gawin naman ninyong kapanipaniwala.
