Re: What if?

Mr. Carrera,

Hackers have hacked into the Pentagon, bank and university computer systems. There is no guarantee this could not happen with the power plant.

As I have said before in order to progress you have to take your head out from under the sand. Leave your head in the sand and the only thing guaranteed is that someone will eventually go behind you and give you a swift kick in on your rear end. Enough now on the power plant.

I am writing this from the China Airlines lounge in Kaohsiung, Taiwan after having spent a short three weeks in Pangasinan.

As always, I try to look at the brighter side of life. I marveled at the energy of the Bangus Festival parade participants. The effort put forth by the barangays in creating their costumes and dances were fantastic.

Unfortunately with the good there is always be some bad.

Example: The “comfort rooms” at the INTERNATIONAL airport parking lot are worse than some of the pigsties cropping up through out the province. And once inside the airport you have entered a zoo. The airport is an international airport. The impression the visitors get will reflect on whether the return with their dollars, yens or Euros.

Example: I saw piggeries in Dagupan, Mangaldan, and Sual next to homes. These piggeries are illegal yet the mayors of the aforementioned places refuse to take action against the owners of these piggeries. The stench from these sties is overwhelming not to even speak of the disease that could come from these places.

When the election is over I will be sending letters to the mayors of the above towns and city and also the governor about this problem. Are they waiting for an outbreak of an epidemic?
