I need to know what is meant by “termite proof and fire proof”. Such terminologies never existed in the US of A.
Fire rating and flame spread rating of materials are the norm. Maybe the developer of Palmas Verdes discovered a new technology that we are not aware of or they are just BS advertisement.
Termite proof means the termites will not go inside the house or nothing can be eaten by termites including the door jambs, kitchen cabinets, closets and even their clothes and books such that termites will not be attracted to invade the house.
Fireproof means nothing will burn or be destroyed by fire which means absolutely no combustible materials that can be destroyed by fire is used in their houses.
If this is in the USA, they are in for a class action lawsuit.
