Re: Waste, a byproduct of progress
Dear Dr. Edwin T. Farias:
Indeed you have a swimming pool and seven solar panels like your neighbor but with more panels and area to heat, this is like heating a swimming pool.
In your 11 Mar posting, you sound like a radical environmentalist and so hysterical about thousands of birds supposedly killed by the windmill farm in your area. Why don’t you read this article: http://www.awea.org/faq/sagrillo/swbirds.html from a real “expert” on the matter.
Dr Edwin, I believe you need to do better than just giving us conjectures. Your arguments as an expert in the field of nuclear energy must be based on credible evidence. Your usual mumbo-jumbo doesn’t work with the reading public of Sunday Punch. They want to read convincing and credible technical and professional opinion, straight answers, not big words like “mayonnaise” BS.
Indeed, I believe you can do it, you are a PhD, Doctorate Degree, the father of nuclear energy technology in the Philippines, for Christ’s sake.
In today’s world, “information technology” is a product of progress, not waste. That is why I was able to locate where you live, verify if indeed you have a swimming pool, solar panels, a large recreational van, nice and civilized neighborhood, among other things in minute details. That truly is a great product of progress.
Have a nice day.
