Look at our Air Force, almost all the planes are old and ‘retirable’ because we cannot afford to buy new and modern planes. Kinakahoy ang ibang piyesa ng eroplano para makalipad ang iba.
Now you are supporting the idea of politicians to bring in an old model, a refurbish nuclear plant. Given this situation, are you telling me that we have competent people who could perform all he preventive maintenance and safety feature?
Assuming that this nuclear plant be built, mounting opposition from the populace will render it useless and inoperative. It will suffer the same fate as the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (a big white elephant). Are we going to replicate the same mistake?
I am sorry to tell you that this nuclear plant will not generate a single kilowatt to power your karaoke to the tune of Mapitpitak ya moling. Haste makes waste.
