Not on your backyard, too?

“His reaction was, as the old saying goes, not on my backyard”
Doctor Edwin, please allow me to borrow your line of thoughts in responding to your latest post. I concur that building new solar panels/wind turbine or any form of power plant will affect the habitat, may that be of animals or humans.
By your reasoning; If we build a nuclear power plant in Pangasinan, it will affect whatever remaining animals that grazes the lively green grasses of our province. It will also dispel, or at the least misplace some of our Kabaleyans due to the shrinking space. Erecting a dangerous project will directly/indirectly incur sickness/death to some of our Kabaleyans, and it will be insurmountable in numbers, not just in thousands but in millions since radioactive effect will stay dormant for years.
Would you be willing to have your relatives or your future generations destined to this fate because you opted to go nuclear?
I am not sure how you would respond to that question but as for me, “NOT ON MY BACKYARD!”
