When is it all right for a soldier or a defense official to go against its present government and then later run for office?
I guess from the criteria of some of our posters it depends if it was successful or not. During Marcos time, our beloved President FVR and admired Senator Enrile were not considered rebels. It was a successful change in government so it must be all right.
The causes of Senator Honasan and the RAM were no different from the causes of Senator Trillanes, Gen Danilo Lim and the Magadalo, is it not? So why the different treatment?
It must be because they have not effected any change in the government or they failed to do so. Message is failures and loser should not run.
