I have a regard for the Filipinos -except in politics – that you do not seem to have.
With proper training anything is possible. Prior to leaving the navy, I knew many Filipinos in N (Nuclear) Division. Yet with your thinking the ship, because of the Filipinos in N Division, should have had a melt down because they lacked the intelligence to work with a nuclear plant.
As in any race there are the dolts and the intelligent ones. I like to think that the intelligent Filipinos far outnumber the dolts.
I do not believe that those in charge of the province would knowingly put the populous in danger. Nor do I think that Korea would foist a defective plant on the Philippines. They would have nothing to gain.
By the way, when was the last time you heard of a nuclear plant melting down in Korea? Quit burying your head in the sand. Get with it. This is the twenty-first century and the Philippines needs twenty-first century technology.
Oh, yes, on another subject. The voters in May have a chance to break a family political dynasty by voting for a man who knows what it is like to be poor. They have a chance to put a man in Malacanang who went from rags to become one of the ten riches in the Philippines. Villar is that man.
