Hooray to the provincial board for their approval of the resolution welcoming the relocation to the province of two nuclear power plants from South Korea.

Nuclear power plants are safe. Japan gets 80 percent of its electricity from nuclear energy. Europe gets the majority of its energy the same way. So does Korea.

The U.S., despite opposition from the radical “environmentalist” is finally planning to build a new nuclear plant.

Also, ALL U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, cruisers, submarines, and some destroyers that have been built over the last four decades are nuclear powered. When have you heard of a nuclear powered ship having a meltdown?

Again, kudos to the provincial board for their forward thinking.

Maybe, if the plants are built, I won’t have to worry about a brownout when I turn on my karaoke machine.
