Overhauling a broken justice system is not enough action to assure a better Philippines if the other branches (executive and legislative) of the government, which make the appointment, are totally broken.
Worst, the ideology of most Filipinos is to commit corruption to get rich quick. They admire or even idolize JDV as a hero in spite of admitting in public (last speech before his ouster as a Speaker of the House) that he is also corrupt.
How many corrupt top officials out of the thousands went to jail or were punished after the repetitive pronouncements of GMA that she will stop corruption?
The highest form of public service is the only solution to stop all of these ills of the Philippines.
