Mabuhay ang Filipino!

Hi Kabaleyan Edwin,

Your story inspires us. You make us feel proud. Thank God I’m Filipino! Even in foreign lands we feel and demonstrate our pride as Filipinos. As Global Filipinos, we are citizens of the world. Even as strangers and sojourners in foreign countries, we can make our mark and our niche in the world. Though, ultimately, “our citizenship is in heaven” (Philippians 3:20).

Through “anos and koli” many Filipinos made good in the U.S. The White House Executive Chef is a Filipina, Cristeta Pasia Comerford. Other Filipinos are political leaders of some U.S. cities like Daly City and Milpitas. These Kababayans are proud of their Filipino heritage and have not abandoned the Philippines.

I drink occasionally and have tasted many brands of beer—American, German, Dutch, British, Chinese, Mexican, etc. You may call me biased, but San Miguel beer is still the best.

Let’s toast: Mabuhay ang Filipino! TGIF!
