I appreciate Mr. Jose Ceralde for addressing his comment to me. I haven’t yet gone anywhere outside the Philippines, but it’s great if I would be given a chance.

Filipinos are known to be one of the happiest persons in the world. One reason is having a good sense of humor. To make one say, “TGIF,” exchanging of memories should deal on those things that certainly raise the Filipino banner.

We all are striving to have a better life in this world. With our unselfish thoughts and prayers, we share our goals and successes with our families, relatives and others around us.

Our loved ones and friends who are given the privilege to work abroad have chosen to meet their aims in a foreign land. Wherever they are, they could not totally abandon their Motherland. We who are close to their hearts are still in the Philippines that would impel them to go back occasionally. They may even have properties to make them return and check.

Fil-Ams would make the fellow Filipinos die happy if they are remembered always, comforted when they are in sorrow, helped when they are in trouble, and so forth.

I think, no matter what happens, to sincerely claim TGIF is to accentuate also the Filipino’s attitude of not growing weary while doing good in every opportunity as the Word of God says it in Galatians 6:9-10.
