More Mannys, less Arroyos

Several months ago I wrote that Manny Pacquiao has put the Philippines on the map. Some Forum readers disagreed with me.
Now, in the next issue, Time Magazine has devoted five pages to this man. The article is not about Manny the boxer but Manny the man. Manny has given the world a positive look at the Philippines and the Filipinos.
The country needs more Mannys and less Arroyos. Oh, yes, to those doubters, I told you so.
