The PCE and PCE Jr. do not have ethical boundaries-they just write for their stomach.
If there is “politics for the stomach” like what my compadre Atty. Luis de Vera said, the columnists who write for their stomach in the Philippines are common. So, I do not mind the writings of this breed of columnists in the Philippines.
At SP, very few like Ermin Garcia and his dad Ermin Garcia Sr., Gerry Garcia, my instructor in English at UPang and a few others are worth reading while other columnists like Velasco, Mendoza, are just what I call the “kiliti columnists”- kinikiliti lang ang mga nagbabayad. The others are just plain sipsip like Duque.
I learned about these from my late compadre Nap Donato.
