It is long overdue for Pangasinan to have a commercial airport. Alaminos is an excellent choice as it is close to a body of water. Most aviation accidents happen during take offs and landings.
If it will be designated as an international airport in the near future, the landing fields should be designed to accommodate the biggest commercial airplanes and equipped with the most modern radars and “all weather” landing equipments.
After the airport is built, a freeway should be built to connect Alaminos southward toward SBMA (via western Pangasinan and Zambales) and eastward to NLEX. This will enhance the flow of commerce to Pangasinan tremendously.
