I admire your genuine interest to learn Pangasinan. You’re a real Pangasinense! Okay, let’s begin with the HA-HA (Homework & Assignments) requirements for a doctorate degree (PhD in Pangasinan).

1. Read Pangasinan books like Maung a Balita Biblia (Pangasinan Bible).

2. Use English-Pangasinan and Ilocano-Pangasinan dictionaries.

3. Have regular conversations with native Pangasinan speakers (face to face or phone).

4. Have email exchanges in Pangasinan with some of our Kabaleyan.

5. Talk to God daily in Pangasinan through Pikakasi and Pisasalamat.

6. Write an essay in Pangasinan, at least 800 words, and have it published in Sunday Punch.

I recommend that you complete all the HA-HA requirements in one to two years. After which, you will be awarded a doctorate degree, PhD in Pangasinan. We will request Editor Ermin Garcia to award you the diploma.
