Re: Barriers

With a portion of Zambales road impassable, I drove from Infanta to Olongapo through most of western Pangasinan and down to Tarlac, on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009.. I noticed a lot of these barriers in front of schools. Yes, these pose a great risk to motorists. Some are not spaced properly… have to squeeze through. At nights or when it is raining it is really hard to see these monsters.

May I suggest to get rid of these barriers totally and do what I have observed done in Infanta & Dasol. A guard with a visible orange vest stands guard when the children were crossing in the designated portion of the road (painted white for pedestrians).
