While I applaud the DepEd’s efforts to bring technology in the classrooms, I’m wondering if their priorities are again missing the mark.

Mr. Ceralde brought up the problems of public school bathrooms about a year ago, and by the looks of it, very little has changed. Most of the bathrooms have no running water, vile, and decrepit. I challenge Mr. Gonzalo Duque or any DepEd officials to make unannounced school visits and have the stomach to use those school facilities.

What could be more fitting in bringing Philippine Public Schools to the 21st century than bathrooms that students can use without worrying what disease they’d catch or whether they’d actually make it out without falling in?
