DIPO Chief Poldo Bataoil denied vigorously . . . Oplan August Moon . . . an alleged coup plot by the planned replacement of the present hierarchy of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, with officers loyal to Arroyo.
Such plan though farfetched could not be disregarded because in spite of denials, it should be given attention on the grounds Arroyo has that megalomaniacal dreams relating to Napoleonic implications.
Heretofore, the Little Bugger Arroyo’s foray in the legality of change like Con-Ass couldn’t be achieved, then such punch in the rarefied world of coup d’etat is the only way out in her search of perpetual power.
Here comes August Moon, an operational plan designed for Arroyo’s demand of feminine grasp to masculinity. It meant to be implemented on the 15th of August after the Chinese harvest season with a big feast with mooncakes related to Arroyo’s face shape.
Is it improbable, that such wicked and feckless cling to power can materialized? With Pinoy’s neglect to self respect and the rule of law everything is possible to happen.
The way things are looking up, she has the guts to gamble knowing the Marcos experience did not change the political landscape.
Her ace in the hole is the extreme idiocy of Filipinos who seem to forget easily what happened yesterday and completely ignore what will happen tomorrow.
