Helping hands for RP

Edwin,
There are still lots of our kabaleyan here in US who look at the positive and try their best to make their barangays better. When I went home in 2007 and 2008 to Bonuan in Dagupan, I saw lots of projects sponsored by people of our country and their extended family and friends living here in USA. Even the cathedral in Dagupan City had lots of sponsors for their roots projects here in USA.
If a British national who only visited Payatas could donate her one job salary out of her three jobs in UK, according to ANC storyline, then I am sure Pinoys also have compassion left to help and hope for the better.
Most of the sponsors of these projects dreamed of having their relatives join them here in US but they know it is an impossible dream so they do the best they can to help alleviate the suffering of their families left behind. I have relatives in our country still suffering from the heavy taxation burden, i.e. of 12 VAT and capital gains of 32%, wondering where all these went. The reality of our political culture is what it is. Clear as water. I wish JDV had achieved Common Union, RP in union with Red China, so corrupt politicians could face firing squad on earth and not wait for heavenly hand of God.
