I have been a critic of the past and present city administration in their lack of resolve in the handling of the squatters problem.
I realize that the problem is nationwide but the solution has to be handled locally. As long as the government continues its practice of appeasement nothing will ever be accomplished. Those with money will squat on prime beachfront land, illegal fish pens will continue to clog the waterways and important projects such as the fish processing plant will never be built.
Mr. Mayor, are you a man or a mouse? Compassion can only go so far. Do your duty and send in the bulldozers. Courage is one of the requirements of higher office. Show the voters that you have a backbone.
