I can not believe that you, having lived in the USA that long, still believe that corruption in the Philippines is no more than anywhere in the USA. You sound like GMA-always in denial mode.

Another important point that you do not acknowledge is the fact that most of the crooks in the USA are prosecuted and go to jail. Guam was considered recently as the third most corrupt jurisdiction in the USA with a Governor, several senators, engineers, public officials convicted. I know most of them personally because it is a very small island and most of them went to jail.

Have you seen that prosecution and conviction RATE in the Philippines? Why was the Philippines ranked almost to the bottom of the list in corruption rating and the USA is at the upper part of the list?
