Kudos to Mayor Emma Chan of Pozorrubio placing this town as a 1st class municipality.

There are many potentials of this town to garner more honors and accolades in the area of rice and vegetable production. She can coordinate with Rep Cojuangco to finance a simple dam project to be located at the Labayug River east of Brgy Alipangpang.

This is a hump feature design (rounded top to allow flow of debris during flash flood) to raise the elevation of the river water and then cascade down to irrigation canals to rice paddies. So simple and so cheap that all farmers in Korea, and Japan adopted it in their farm communities. I saw this dam when I was OFW in both countries.
