Demolition of the fish pens by the present administration must not only be applauded by the people of Dagupan but all Pangasinenses because it is not only the legitimate fishpond owners that are greatly affected, but a major part of Pangasinan.

I hope the other mayors and the one and only Governor of Pangasinan who is a SENRO will finally find the will to save the environment.

Congratulations and I hope that similar actions to clean, restore and protect the once pristine environment of Bonuan Blue Beach will be initiated.

Such actions require more than just having pictures taken about picking up trash at the beach. It must include proper sewage and garbage disposal from the prison camp all the way along all the rivers and tributaries in Dagupan and beyond.

It requires the expertise of our brilliant civil, sanitary and environmental engineers and scientists. There are lots of them there so why let them go elsewhere and use their expertise for the benefit of other nations?
