To Al Mendoza:

Once again, you display your ignorance about guns and your sexist views towards women. Wake up! We are now in the 21st century where the women have the same rights as the men.

Just so you’ll know, that means men and women are held as equals. Were you nursing a hangover when you wrote your last column?

“Men do not usually need formal education to fire a gun. Guts, courage and machismo are enough.” What a load of crap of a statement, Mr. Al Mendoza. I want to point out to you that handling firearms not only include the ability to shoot the weapon, but one also needs to be familiar with the laws and responsibilities owning one, hence the need to have a “formal” education.

You apparently have a low regard about women. You should not confine your horizon with only the women around you. I know many women who do not shudder in fear in sight of guns. I know women who can kick you silly little butt to kingdom come.

So, Mr. Al Mendoza, you should just limit your writing to topics you know. Remember that most Punch readers are not confined to remotest areas of Pangasinan.
