It is time for the city government to end the B.S. being tossed by the “residents” of Sitio Russia. It is time for the City to think of what is good for Dagupan and the province and not what the squatters of Sitio Russia are demanding.
The “residents” of Sitio Russia have no rights to that land and what happens to it. The city has been more than generous with their offer. The city’s only mistake was allowing the squatters to live there in the first place. Like the old saying says, “give an inch, they’ll want a foot.” Unless the city shows some intestinal fortitude on this matter this same scenario will be repeated the next time squatters have to be relocated.
It is time for the city to send in the bulldozers and get started with the building of the fish processing plant. It will be nice to know that the in the future when we buy bangus here in Union City, CA that it may have been raised in Pangasinan and processed in Dagupan.
