Years back there was one Dagupan City Association Northern California. The different town associations would hold their galas and a good time were had by all who came from Pangasinan and their guests. Dining, dancing and comradely.

Then there was an election. The loser started his own group and half went with him. The affect of the breaking up of the largest Pangasinan association because a loser couldn’t accept his losing the election damaged all the associations.

Now there are no longer the grand balls that were once held five or six times a year.

I related the above because I fear that if Pangasinan is divided into two there would be no winners except the losers who hunger for political power. What would be left would be two groups fighting over the spoils of what was once a great province.

Don’t let the greedy politicos have their way.
