Credit should be given where’s due!

The evolution of Congresslady Rachel Arenas of the 3rd District of Pangasinan from a spring chicken to a Margaret Thatcher is admirable.

In a few short months she showed results in getting something done in the infrastructures her constituents needed most . . . bridges to convey commerce . . . and the hands-on managerial instinct to back it up are signs of things to come.

Recently, we can see the chutzpah in a determined resolution of a problem she wanted done. Politics is set aside for the common good.

Case in point . . . the Calvo Bridge in Bayambang.

Her decision to cancel the contract basing on the contractor’s delaying tactics in the expense of the people is the right approach on top of the added cost.

This bridge is a very important connection between the 3rd District and the 5th District and it should be completed as planned for the economic health of the region.

Bravo, Rachel! Keep it up!

Who said well- connected is bad?
