Pacquiao by TKO, not a KO

Mr. Hermie Rivera:
Better get your facts together . . . amigo . . . before you catch the Pacquiao fever, and it’s bad for your writing feats.
Pacquiao did not win by KO as you arrogantly proclaimed. He won by TKO meaning two different things.
For the record . . .
Knockout – also known as KO, is when the participant in contact sport is down cold unable to get up within the allowed time.
Technical knockout – referred to as TKO is declared when the referee or other judges are convinced the boxer couldn’t continue the fight though he did not fail the count.
And Billy Goat is not the mascot of team Diaz. The trivia of the goat putting a curse on the Cubbies that happened at the friendly confines of Wrigley is another story.
Billy Goat is a watering hole for the carefree daytime workers of the Loop especially members of the media, the Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times. It’s the place where the Chicago legends Mike Royko and Studs Terkel made famous.
It has been said, that any presidential candidate will have to scamper down the stairs to Lower Wacker to have a taste of Bill Siani’s chezboger to make his mark in Chicago politics.
Where’s Al Mendoza when you needed him?
