Meralco-users, the real hostages

Last May, the Meralco Issue was exposed for overpricing electric usage & failing to refund deposits for electric meters.
1. For many weeks attacking Meralco which was owned by the Lopezes family was on daily papers, and many politicians got involved.
2. Then the hostage-taking of a TV news reporter happened. The reporter was from ABS-CBN, owned again by the Lopez family. It diverted the attention away from the Meralco issue.
The biggest hostages are the Filipinos who are using Meralco, they forget all the rallies & protest due to the hostage crisis.
Why did the TV reporter decline her security & protection while she was in a war zone?
Issue-Issue lang yan.
