Education, greatest Filipino value

I noticed that posters and most people are using the legally and technically correct word to call people from Pangasinan—PANGASINENSE.

Here in Pangasinan .org and Sunday Punch, they no longer use the insulting derogatory Pangalatok which means Pangasinense sira toktok or other words like Pangalatot which means Pangasinense amoy Ut-tot or Pangalatit which means Pangasinense Walay Katit etc.

There is improvement. Statistically, Pangasinenses are one of the most highly educated segments of our population. Let us continue nurturing this value – we value education so much.

This value is also true to the whole Filipino nation. Great Filipino value—amazing. Everybody likes to be educated even through thick and thin. Kahit isanla ang lupa or kalabaw or magtinda na lang ng kaunti, mapag aral lang ang anak.

This value is one of the many values that make Filipinos progressive and great internationally and nationally.

Happy Mother’s Day to all great mothers who sacrifice so much to get their kids educated.

Love of mother for kids is nothing in comparison to love of father to kids in general.
