Pakbet vs. Tibet

As I was watching the fiasco happening in San Francisco, I got to thinking; what if some kind hearted carinderias back home suddenly advertised ‘ free pakbet, free pakbet?’ You know how the politburo in Beijing might mistake that to mean Filipinos are joining the clamor for a ‘free Tibet?’
Even if one had just feasted on chicken feet dim sum, steamed buns and moon cakes, the similarity is just too great to ignore? The power holders in that country may just decide to occupy the entire Philippine islands?
Not to worry ‘tho given the competence of this administration. All she needs to do is send another huge delegation to Beijing and explain our pakbet consisted only of bagoong balayan, few okras and balasenas.
On the other hand, Tibet consists mainly of oppressed people di ba? One being so delicious, the other being outrageous!
About 3000 OFW’s are reported leaving the country everyday. Government officials leave on fact finding missions, others to have their blood pressures taken while the riches leave to visit Disneyland.
In other words, only the Pidals are left in the country? No wonder nobody cares to remove MMDA gwapo image tarpaulins around the metros!
