Only some have bad attitude, not all

Mr. Carrera,
That is a good idea. Why don’t we look who is talking to settle the issue once and for all?
In your previous post dated April 8, 2008, you seemed very sure that the problem of the country is not the system of government but the attitude of the people.
Actually, this is the main reason why I asked the questions, “Is it really not the system but the peoples’ attitude? Who knows, unless we will try our best to really discern the truth?”
I like to ask you, “Are you really sure that it is just the attitude of the people that needs to be changed? Are you sure that there’s nothing wrong with the systems that we are using?”
I am quite sure that there’s something wrong with both the system and the attitude of the people that is why I like to ask you those questions.
While it is true that there are some bad attitudes of some people, it does not mean that all the people have that kind of attitudes, is it not? We have to bear or keep in mind that there are also lots of Filipinos with good attitudes.
This is the main reason why we need to try our best to really discern the truth to prevent negative stereotyping or destructive sweeping statements. While it is true that we have the responsibility to help in the crackdown of corruptions in the country, we also have the responsibility to protect the dignity of Filipinos.
Let us look who is talking about bad attitude of people that needs to be changed and see what a guy he is.
According to the news, when he was in the Philippines recently, the mayor of Guam said that the US territory’s capital will hire more than 20,000 skilled Filipino workers to facilitate the construction of an expanded US military base on that island.
That is good news because it means that the people of Guam still trust Filipinos in spite of the fact that a fellow who is also from Guam, Mr. Carrera and a former President of the Philippines have been shouting and echoing to the world a survey that Philippines is the number 2 most corrupt nation in the world and the most corrupt country in Southeast Asia.
Mr. Carrera, as if it is not bad enough, you even said that majority of Filipinos are corrupt. It is good the people of Guam viewed with skeptical attitude your badmouthing and unkind remarks about Filipinos and did not deter or discourage them to hire more than 20,000 skilled Filipino workers to work in a highly restricted and classified or top secret US military base.
