Abel Gramata: I share with you the sadness of the untimely passing of a friend and a brother-golfer Taby Tabanyag.

Brother Abel, I was an adopted player of Fil-Am players from Japan (Camp Zama and Atzugi) and I am from Binalonan. My teammates were Nestor Manrique, Rudy Reyes, Larry Stover, etc. at that time.

Was Taby the announcer of players to the T-box at the Baguio Country Club? I can’t recall. Neither did I see signs and tokens in him, he’s a brother.

I salute you brother for your unselfish contribution to the economy of Baguio City holding the unbroken Guinness Book of Records of 700 players in a 5-day tourney.

Keep up the good work and hope someday you create a venue to have a satellite tourney at Bonuan Country Club to prop up the economy of Bonuan Binloc.
