Not “baduy” to speak Pangasinan

Is it true that a lot of the younger generation in Pangasinan now prefers to casually converse in Tagalog rather than talking in our own dialect of Pangasinan?
If it’s true then it’s very sad that we are starting the death of one of the most unique dialects in the world which is Pangasinan.
To the young people of Pangasinan, please realize that it is not “baduy” to be speaking in Pangasinan.
We’re now based overseas but we still speak in Pangasinan… even my husband who is a Tagalog now speaks my native Pangasinan dialect.
