Carry our own crosses

Why wait for divine intervention when we all have to carry our own crosses. We can not all be dead heroes, for courage is in the living.
A prosperous country is built by the contributions of its people. A tyrannical leader could cow their people to believe their country is great by not letting the truth in and out.
Let those who seek the truth enjoy the sacrifices of those who fought and stood up for those rights. Do not be silenced by those who rather follow ignorance and misguided belief.
In a democracy everyone has the burden to ensure that evil ways are denounced. It may lead to conflict between our kumpadres but we could not afford to just do nothing. When bright people let themselves to be deceived and make the rest of the world believed that nothing is wrong then they only have themselves to pity their misfortune.
Our roads are not bad because of the weather. Our schools are not dilapidated because of our lack of resources. Our rivers are not polluted and smell because fish pens are in the rivers. They are the results of pride.
Accepting the wrongdoings plainly in our sights and deceive ourselves and everyone we are in paradise. Start at the baseline of the current situation with the true conditions so you could improve. Never start from a lie.
