The Catholic Church hierarchy should not have waited long in releasing its spiritual guidance. They did not succeed in pacifying an outraged citizenry. They have instead, become extremely vociferously incensed over what many believed was a phony pastoral message.

Question is, how do you reconcile a message that condemns government’s blatant corruption while at the same time, warning critics against removal of the source? I feel like being told by this holy bunch not to seek medical attention until I am sure I have a terminal disease?

With due respect to Bishop Oscar Cruz, who is the exception. one of the jokes around town is this. The acronym ‘CBCP’ stands for; ‘Certified Beneficiaries (of) Corruption (by the) Pidals!
