The Pinoy’s patriotism

Mr. Carrera, all I am asking are names and I never ask for evidence. I am afraid you are confused and I wonder why… because as you can see, my previous posting is very short and easy to understand.
In fact, Punch even put a title of the issue at the top, “Give names of patriotic Filipinos.” I guess you are trying hard to muddle the real whole issue with irrelevant responses, terms and expressions.
Also, I find it weird your imagination of twisting our comments in the past so that you can draw a picture to suit your misleading information, something that is quite different to what really transpired at that time.
I asked for names because you said that there are only few patriotic Filipinos, the rest are corrupt. Ang pagkaintindi ko sa sinabi mo ay parang dadalawa lamang ang klase ng mga Filipinos, patriotic at corrupt.
What you said sounds like you can count with your fingers the Filipinos who are patriotic and millions upon millions of Filipinos are corrupt.
I find it hard to believe and to accept that out of the 80 million Filipinos, there are only few patriotic Filipinos. Ang saklap namang pakinggan, di ba? It sounds pessimistic but that is your opinion. It is questionable and debatable. I wonder how other Filipinos feel about it.
I like to think that it is the other way around. I like to believe that out of 80 million Filipinos, there are only few that are corrupt, the rest are good people who love their country very much. Ang pagka-alam ko ay mas higit na marami ang mga tunay na Filipinos, sa isip, sa salita at sa gawa.
My late grandfather loves to tell me stories when I was a kid about World War II especially the bravery and patriotism of the Filipinos during the war.
I believe, what is happening in our country and in many parts of the world is a continuation of the battle between good and evil as always since the time of Adam and Eve.
Sana naman ay masugpo na ang mga problema sa ating bansa lalo na ang illegal drugs, graft and corruptions, plunder, killings, robbery, kidnappings, hold-ups at mga iba pang mga criminal activities.
