Mr. Oriel,

You said” Isn’t it about time that religious organizations doing business in the Philippines obey our beloved Jesus Christ who said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”? “, can you be more clear because in one hand our kabaleyan wanted to heed the CBCP call for communal action and in the other live in GMA’s corrupt government as citizens of Rome for survival on earth. More precisely not  to be driven to the killing fields of Cavite.

It seems to me we are back to centuries past when they were to follow the cross or fall to the sword. Either way this is the time when Pinoys/Pinays soul is tested to use Paine’s writing during the American civil war.

Your wise counsel may be the tipping point of renewed strength of our people. The renewal of “utang na loob” that our beloved JDV sorely missed especially from his “kaprovenciaan & kumpadres”. Renewal of “delikadeza” instead of moderation of greed. Renewal of ideals of EDSA’s promise.
