Regarding the 1 million pesos per barangay being given by House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. Sounds too good to be true. I don’t want to seem like a pessimist but I have to wonder how much of that money will actually be used to improve the barangays. Much of that money should be used to improve the sanitation of these places to help eradicate mosquito borne diseases and assistance for needy families.

I always try to be optimistic but in light of all that has been happening, I hope that the 1 million pesos doesn’t enrich those who are entrusted with the money.
