Everybody had the blues

Kervie,

Ang masasabi ko rin ay ito, at least, Mr. Pontaoe was also one man in the forum in whom the sense of humor was highly developed. This man was a great blessing to his comrades’ forum posters and readers.

He could see the ridiculous side of every hardship, every phase of camp life, and every misfortune. Pessimistic yet optimistic, cheerful. He could find joke where most men would never dream it could exist.

Even the most trivial incident he would turn to the most humorous account. In this world today, everybody had the blues – that is nearly everybody – for there were few who had been born with a cheery – good humored temperament and with the disposition to see the bright, happy side of everything.

Laughter, good humored can improve the lives of many discouraged, problematic, and sick people. We can’t suppress the spirit of laughter. If God gave upon us for development, use them. It’s good gift to bring good cheer to fellow men. Allow other to dispense happiness.

What a shame to sit at the table among  the people who are most under our influence, and look glum and dump, as we had been summoned to eat dead crow.

Life is very short and rapidly changing, and it will not be long till some of those chairs will be empty. We ought to treasure up the happiest incidents, stories, beautiful ideas, sad and funny jokes, to repeat at meal time.

“BANISH THE BLUES AND BAD BLAMES.” We all need the fountain of physical strength, but of mental and spiritual recreation.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND GOD BLESS…
