It’s nice to watch the Pitaki Boyz compete and win with muscle – brute force and human endurance. Untainted.

Recently, the world watched the most dishonorable conclusions to athletic competitions. Oscar Pereiro of Spain got his hands on the yellow jersey from Floyd Landis of the US of A, the 2006 Tour de France champion, when he was stripped of the title for illegal use of synthetic testosterone.

First time it happened, and the cycling world holds its breath hoping it would be the last. Then came the nail on the coffin when Marion Jones of the 2000 US track Olympic fame came crushing down to earth on her admission, eventually, her usage of dope. Her hypocrisy is so outrageous in denying, but it happened, when she decided to come clean after the Feds started breathing down her neck. Her admission required her to return three golds and a couple of bronze and reverberated thru the ranks of the relay team who got whacked in the scandal, unknowing victims of intense and corrupted competitive sports.

A slap in the face in American sportsmanship.
