Don’t use “Pinoy”

You got a point there Mr. Pontaoe by not using the word, “Pinoy” to describe ourselves.
Forward thinking people like the Americans, the French, the Germans, NZ, and Australians always introduce themselves as such but never identify themselves as yanks, frogs, krauts, kiwis, or roos.
The Philippine media should aggressively imbibe to the masses on when and how to use the proper noun. This might be a daunting task to achieve because there is a segment in our culture mostly “educated” ones that seems to put a hedge against new ideas.
Your Midwest influence must have something to do with your up-to-date wisdom. Keep sharing to our kabeleyans of your thoughts and hopefully they will eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope it is not a train coming at them though.
