A victim of illegal clamping

I was a victim of this illegal parking drive of POSO. Sure enough I had to pay POSO a hefty P1,100 to declamp my car so I could go about my business. Who knows how many they have duped.
Collecting money for a violation that’s not even sanctioned by a city ordinance is pure and simple extortion. I no longer have my receipt so I could not reclaim my money.
What the office of CLO George Mejia can do is to confiscate the ledger of POSO or their lists of people to whom they have exacted money from, starting 2005 through 2007. This document contains the description of the vehicle, particularly the plate number, and the location where it was cited for violation. With this document, I, and the others without the benefit of a receipt can claim back their money by simply presenting a copy of their vehicle registration. This document can also serve to determine as to how much money was collected so that appropriate administrative charges can be filed against those city officials concerned.
I hope CLO George Mejia would really act on this scam and I hope justice will be served.
