Who are they honoring for this act?

Demonstrators burning a flag, activists defacing bridges and walls, law enforcers hosing down mêlée, these are indeed disturbing thoughts.
But none more disturbing than looking at a picture of a Police Regional Director Chief Supt., a commander of the Army, City Administrator, and a City Councilor setting an effigy of the Communist Party on fire for what? To honor the National Heroes? Was anyone in their right mind when they planned this ill-conceived publicity stunt?
Let’s see, they must have wanted the public to know that they intend to burn down anyone out there having to do with the NPAs, or hey, “let’s model how to burn down our enemies”, and better yet, “this is how much we respect our National Heroes”. I’d like to know who these National Heroes they are honoring for this idiotic act.
