Mr. Jazy Garcia:

Your post on the 16th needs some follow-up on the veracity on what you told the Forum.

Your words, you raced against Armstrong, Ulrich and Vinokorouv and you were one of the BEST having participated twice in the Summer Olympics’ road races, 1992 in Barcelona, Spain and 2000 in Sydney, Australia.

Olympic records show that in 1992 Barcelona, there were 82 contestants and you’re not one of them. The Philippines fielded a team with two members; NORBERTO OCONER and DOMINGO VILLANUEVA which turned out they were non-finishers meaning they did not make the cut . . . they were disqualified. The gold medal went to Fabio Casartelli from Italy . . . silver to Erik Dekker from Holland. . . . bronze to Dainis Ozols from Latvia. Lance Armstrong of the USA finished 14th. 2000 Olympics Sydney.

Ninety two cyclists were in the race. Your name was nowhere to be found. Neither was a record of Philippine cyclists in the race.

Again the gold medal went to Jan Ulrich from Germany. . . silver to Alexandre Vinokorouv of Kazakhstan . . . bronze to Andreas Klöden of Germany. Lance Armstrong was 13th. The one who finished last was Pedro Pablo Pèrez of Cuba.

What really caught my eye was your post on the 16th telling us you are Filipino living in your country GUAM. FYI, Guam is not a country. It is a small speck of land in the US Trust Territories in the Marianas’ chain. The people are US citizens but can’t vote in a presidential election.
