The incompetence of the Tayug police and the PNP provincial leadership in effecting the arrest of the Tayug mayor’s bodyguards is appalling. Was there not a probable cause to effect an arrest shortly after the commission of the crime?
These so called police officers, especially Sr. Supt. Isagani Nerez is a disgrace to the uniform and could not be trusted to enforce the law. How could he not provide his full support to his police chief?
The provincial prosecutor is another incompetent; a person was murdered and he found it that the complaint filed by the police not defensible? Is the prosecutor a moron or what?
Mr. Ermin Garcia, Jr. was right to suggest that these criminals are just biding their time and wait for the witnesses to back out. Justice system and police protection in the Philippines? Only for the rich and politically connected, maybe.
I wonder if the victim was Arroyo’s or the Gov. “Spines” family, how would the wheels of justice would turn then?
