Glass is half-full, not half-empty

Yes, I too, dream. I look at a glass of water as half full not half empty.

Unlike many, especially a certain person from Chicago, every time I return to Dagupan and see some improvement, regardless of how small, I am delighted.

The improvements and increase in tourism at Hundred Island have long been coming just like the proposed airport. The street lights in Dagupan, though controversial, were an attempt to beautify the drab boulevards.

Yes, Einstein may have led to the discovery of the a-bomb but that same discovery has led to the use of NUCLEAR medicine which has allowed millions to survive cancer. Robert Goddard was instrumental in the use of v1 and v-2 rockets by the Germans yet because of him, flights into space are no longer a “dream.” I could go on and on.

As I said earlier I look at a glass of water as half full not half empty. If I was as disenchanted with the state of politics in the Philippines, as some of you seem to be, I would leave the comforts of my home in Chicago and return to the P.I. and try to do some good.

Dreaming is better than complaining.

Oh yes. I, like many others, do not use our surname when writing to the Forum in order to maintain a certain amount of privacy and anonymity. I would appreciate it if you would respect my privacy.
