No let up in anti-drugs campaign
By Bebot Villar
THERE has been no let up in the police campaign against illegal drugs in the province. And this can be seen in the daily police reports, where buy-bust operations have been conducted, drug pushers arrested in the different towns and cities.
Malas lang noong ilang drug pushers because they chose to shoot it out with the authorities.
But the police also know this, that’s why they are always ready to deal with any situation.
There were reports that some towns and cities in the province known to be transshipment points from other province.

Despite repeated warnings, many people are still victimized by text scammers, losing cash in the process.
If the text number announcing a promo used the ordinary 11-digit number, magduda na agad.
O report the number to NTC.
The increasing number of text scammers has been one of the reasons why the House proposal to register all SIM cards, including prepaid, has been gaining support.

Last week, Justice Secretary Leila De Lima ordered newly appointed NBP OICs to “keep the prisons the way they are supposed to be.” To achieve this, she said, prison rules and regulations must be strictly enforced to avert the entry of any and all contraband and the commission of prison-based anomalies.
Three heads have rolled so far at sila ang dating mga matataas na opisyal ng NBP. But their relief is still not a penalty kundi isang administrative prerogative habang iniimbestigahan ang mga pangyayari sa NBP. As they say, it takes two to tango. And there could be more NBP personnel who allowed the high profile criminals to build their kingdoms inside the NBP compound.
