‘You don’t know your child’

GEORGIA, U.S.A—Many of our friends including family members think we are nuts or something for a strange habit.

We have this habit — strange to some, not us — of bringing with us a personal plastic dipper or in our native tongue, “kaor” or “tabo,” we don’t know what to call it.

In our travels, we don’t fail to bring it with us. It’s always in our bag. The reason we do this is because we feel comfortable using it to clean our self, as we “don’t feel complete” just using the toilet paper roll.

Our sisters noticed the habit with understandable laughter. But so what? It’s for hygiene and cleanliness. And cleanliness is next to Godliness, right?

Ok, laugh, paktaylo kayo hindi pala kayo Godly!

We received from the internet varying responses to our twit on P-noy as a President with a popularity fast nose diving down.

This second term thing – whether by way of charter change or what-not is against the constitution.

Magalit na ang magalit. But our being lawyer bars us from playing with the fundamental law of the land.

Liberal nga tayo, but we’re sure, the founders or framers of the Liberal Party will frown on this proposed charter change just to accommodate someone’s personal ambition.

We are personally for P-noy to be a successful president—but not to give him a second term which is a violation of the constitution.

Let’s take it from Bishop Soc Villegas, who is himself a close friend of the Aquinos.

The handsome bishop, president of CBCP, has spoken about his opposition to a P-noy Part II.

Tama na yong isa. Nakakasawa na ang Dalawa.

We are at war! Have you noticed?

First: why are there still contrary positions against the death penalty to illegal drug manufacturers and/or pushers?

Alabas ira nen satanas iraya, mga igan! All these satanic or demonic elements—not souls!—want is to destroy the world, the creations of God.

Ok, with that as given gusto ninyo pang bigyan ng benefit of the doubt itong mga anac na lasin pusher and/or manufacturer of illegal drug?

You see, we, hapless but good citizens of the world and creatures of the Lord Almighty, have long been in state of war against these merciless killers, the drug lords!

The drug users are misguided elements. They got hooked into it by merciless, satanic, demonic forces.

We are all witnesses to their diabolical schemes.

Noong buhay pa si Secretary Jake Clave, narinig natin ang kanyang fatherly advice sa dalawang magulang ng isang biktima ng drugs.

Ninong Jake told them, “No, you no longer know your son, as he is hooked in drugs.” Walang nagawa yong dalawang napaiyak na magulang na humihingi ng payo tungkol sa biglang pagkakaiba ng galaw, ugali at itsura ng kanilang pinakamamahal na anak.

It’s really that gruesome, bizarre and unthinkable.

Ganyan ka-grabe ang pinag gagawa ng mga drug pushers. Demonyo sila. Iniiba nila ang kaluluwa ng tao, na nagiging beast, ambaguel, worse than katok, harmful, dapat nga iwala na sa society.

Now, the question, do we still give the pusher a chance to do their diabolical thing because some of us don’t want them eliminated as we are  opposed  to the death penalty?

Did you know that we are the only country in Asia without the death penalty against drug pushers?

We should not lose sight of the fact that the state has the right to protect itself from sure harm. Hindi ba sure harm itong drugs?

Saludo tayo kay former President Marcos when he ordered a known pusher (Lim Seng) shot dead at the Luneta. Sana ang mga leaders natin today have that will power against this known and omnipresent evil!
